There is no physical reason to delay. The incidence of miscarriage is not decreased by delaying. Miscarriage occurs in one of every 10 pregnancies. That means that you will have a one in ten chance of having it happen again. Some people recommend that you delay in order to work out the grief from the loss of the first pregnancy. This may take a few months to do and is a very good thing to do.
