I'm hoping someone can help me. I've read all the other posts on POF here and don't see the answers I'm looking for. I am 30 years old and 18 months ago was having a lot of stress in my life but thought maybe the excessive sudden acne on face and neck was from my Ovcon 30 BCP. My gyno changed my pills twice and still didn't help. Finally I went on Low Ovrol (sp?) and after taking the second pill, I knew something was wrong. I just didn't feel right. I had increasing vaginal dryness, even after prolonged foreplay, something that was never a problem. Finally after three months, I had had it and went off them after my period. For two months, periods came within 28 days and then the next two have been 8 weeks apart. That, combined with the continued vaginal dryness had me questioning the doctor. I had my thyroid tested and all is fine. I've just gone for FSH and Estradiol tests because my gyno says I could have POF. What I'm wondering while waiting anxiously for my results is, is it possible that there is any other diagnosis or explanation???? Can what I have be treatable??? I don't have hot flashes, although there has been weight gain, but that can be contributed to stress and bad eating the last year. I've never been pregnant and other than heavy cramping in my teens, no real menstruation problems. Thanks so much! Lyn
