Hi Anita,

I think you are on the right track with finding another Dr. As for getting your records, you need to give them a letter with your signature authorizing them to release your records to you or the physician of your choosing. There may be a charge for copying. If she won't talk to you on the phone, you could always drop her a letter in the mail explaining why you are severing the relationship with her. Maybe she doesn't realize the way she is coming across. Your letter might help her better understand what is going on. Also, a Dr. should not raise their voice to you!

You deserve the best treatment available to you! Go out and get it ;o)....
