>Would HCG continue to rise if there was no Yes, it can. HCG doesn't come from the fetus, or actually embryo at this point. It comes from the future placental tissue. If it were me, I'd repeat the sono in 1 week because: The HCG is a good level and I'd expect a heartbeat AND why get tortured another week. At 7w2d with a goo HCG, it's either good or it isn't.
