Chadwick's Sign not a big Deal to My Infertility Doctor

On Friday, I went to the doctor for to discuss my infertility treatment. In January, I had a myomectomy and had to wait for the operation to heal before "trying" again. During my appointment, I had a pelvic exam and a pap smear. During the exam, the doctor said that I had Chadwick's Sign, that my cervix appeared to have a blue hue, etc. and was in perfect position to do a pap because of it's location. My heart about dropped because my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for 8 years now with various infertility treatments, etc. I have a daughter from a previous marriage and when I was just pregnant with her, the doctor said the same thing about my cervix having a blue tinge. Even though the doctor said this to me during the exam, he didn't order any tests or do anything special. He just said come in on day three of my next cycle to begin using the Fertinex shots. Of course, I'm being treated by military doctors so that might explain why he wasn't as caring, whatever. My question is: Can you have Chadwick's Sign and not be pregnant? My husband and I had intercourse at 10 and 6 days prior to the appointment ovulation was within that time as well. I've done an at home pregnancy test, but so far, it's a no, although my breasts are very full. I'm not due to get my period until August 8th, so if I am pregnant, I'm not very pregnant yet. Would Chadwick's Sign show up that quickly? Also, I've been feeling crampy since we had intercourse the second time, could I be pregnant and then just lose a pregnancy with a regular period? Thank you for your response
