Hi Angela,

I know for me, I would go see my doctor. I wouldn't mess around with bleeding for 15 days that is heavy as fatigue and/or anemia could result. It is best not to wait around for it to go away, and at least for reassurance and treatment, I would call and make an appointment. Take it from someone who has hemorrhaged twice in her life, this should not be ignored and/or waited out.

As far as the cause, perhaps hormones are playing a role in this? I bled heavy for two years with periods, bled half the month, had test after test, and two surgeries, and no cause was established on me as to why I was bleeding so much and so long.

Hang in there;)
