I'm looking for information on what to do now? I had been on bc and went off as they were messing me up and 4 months latter I had not had a period but was suffering from night sweats, hot flashes, mood swings,so the dr. put me on the depo shot and now he has put me on estrogen patches. He said that I would be able to see a diffrence in 2 weeks I have been on them for 4 weeks no change and I am scared. I am single and would like to have children someday. I had a thyrod test and pap and all came back ok. I ask about a blood test and was told it was to expensive as I have no insurance. Can you give me ideas as to what to do next I have cancer on my mom's side of the family and my father died from a massive heart attack when he was 47 I don't want to take something that would increase my risks if I don't have to. Thank You
