Denise, Not likely to affect your hair one way or the other. It is safe to have sex if there was no gap between pill packs. In other words, if you finished a pack of the triphasils then started the Nordettes just as you would another pack of pills. If there was a gap, then I would recommend using another form of birth control for the first month... Lynn
