Also, and this is equally embarrassing, I read at Gyn101 that my doctor will probably do a rectal exam - yikes. Should I use an enema or suppository to clean out before the examination?

Alexa- I know how you feel about the "rectal" part, that was no fun at all but its over with quickly and only takes a few seconds. Going to the gyn isn't too bad, just make sure that you tell them that you are a virgin and I think that they can use a certain speculum to not hurt as much. I hope that this helps!! Good luck!
