Breakthrough BleedingFrom: Heather (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 30 Jun 2000 12:14:59 -0500 (CDT)
I am writing regarding some problems I have had with breakthrough bleeding. I am currently taking Nor Q-D birth contol pills. I had suffered from migraines and was on Ortho- Cyclen. About two years ago my GYN put me on Mircette. It did not really help the migraines. So I went back on the regular pill. However, the migraines intensified and I had them weekly. So, I was desperate to try anything different. March this year my GYN put me on the Nor QD. The migraines went away right away. Haven't really had but one in about three months. So I am excited about that. However, the breakthrough bleeding I am having is becoming to much. I feel like I am on my period the whole month. I had a period the beginning of this month that was about 5 days long then two weeks later i feel like I have another one. My husband is frustrated and ready for me to try something else. I don't want any headaches. I called the doctor's office but they say to give it more time. How much more time? It's going on 4 months. I would really appreciate any suggestions. Thank you for you time.
