Hi Kathy,

First off I'm sorry to hear that you are having so much pain in your vaginal area. You may have a condition called vulvodynia. Sometimes vulvodynia can be mistaken for HPV. Request that your dr do a vulvar biopsy. This will determine if you have vulvodynia.

Also the symptoms of vulvodynia such as burning, and itching can mimick that of a yeast infection. To learn more about vulvodynia check out the following links:

If you are looking to talk to others with this condition please feel free to e-mail me directly and I will be glad to do whatever I can to answer any questions that you may have. I have had this condition for 2 years but I didn't get a definitive diagnosis until Sept. The last 9 months with this has been especially difficult.

I hope that this is of some help to you. Please take care and I wish you all of the best at getting an answer to this. Also I hope that you get to feeling a whole lot better real soon.

Take care,

Kristy :)
