This is my story..I had sinus surgery in November of 99..soon after the surgery I got my period early..then it continued off and on..mostly on for about a month. I saw my gyno and she put me on BCP..The pills did regulate my cycle but I was having horrible side effects... the worst of them being water retention and weight gain..I weighed 104..and quickly found 115..that's with following the weight watchers plan..that in itself is extremely frustruating to eat better than before taking the pills to only gain weight...20 days ago I went off the pill cuz I would rather have an irregular cycle than deal with the side effects. Now, 20 days later..I'm still experiencing the same side effects that I had while on the pill. What could it be??!! I obviously had a problem before starting the pills that was simply masked..I'm just soooo confused..ANYONES input will help me a great deal!!
