Hello to everyone who has answered this post. I, too, have a caring, supportive gynecologist who senses how un-nerved I am when I have an appointment with him. I still feel humiliated and degraded...why?? My own personal feelings, I guess. I also think this is what Pam is trying to say. Even with someone totally professional, it is still an unpleasant experience and I do feel total humiliation...I know this is his "job" and he most likely thinks nothing of it, in fact, I talk with him alot as I work in the same building as he does...but when I am in his office on a professional visit, it is totally different...so, even a caring professional can make me feel un-nerved, personal feeling!!!
