I called my gyn's office this morning and spoke to one of the nurses,(THis is the same nurse that sarcastically told me last month that joint pain was not gyn related)I told her that I was in to see my Dr. last Wednesday and my BP was high..and since Friday I have been very lightheaded and nauseous .She questioned why I was calling there and not my PCP about this? so I told her that being on the Lupron I was calling to inform my Dr. on how I was feeling. She said o:k I will put a note in your chart, she wasn't even going to tell my Dr. that I had called! I called back a short time later and spoke to one of the receptionist and explained what had happened and she told me she would have my Dr. give me a call, He returned my call promptly and had me go in for a BP check, It was 120/90 which is better than it was last week 170/100 and 158/90.He doesn't think that the light headedness is being caused by the BP and recomennded that I go to my PCP for further evaluation. Any thoughts on what could be causing the light headedness ?Could this be another side effect from the Lupron? Thanks, Peggy >
