Montgomery, MD: "Re: Acne AFTER nursing" I FINALLY weaned my son from nursing 2 months ago (he is 3.7 years). Since then, my past 2 cycles have played havoc on my face. It occurs the day or so after ovulation then stops after a day or two. The acne is many white heads all over my face (especially forehead and chin) that just keep popping up for a 2-3 days then subside. This has NEVER happened in my entire 39 years of life. Whats happening?? Is it a perimenopause thing or a belated teenage hormone thing? Nothing has changed in terms of hygiene or eating habits. What a shocker! Thanks in advanced!
