Gardnarella- Help!

Does anyone know what causes Gardnarella, and if there is any natural way to cure it? I've had chronic problems with Yeast Infections (and gardnarella) for the past 8+ years (as well as cervical dysplasia twice...I'm just not very lucky in this area), and finally discovered I was "allergic" to yeast. I have been on a yeast-free diet for over a year now, and it has helped dramatically for this problem. I do still get gardnarella infections occasionally, and am wondering if there is something I can do to "cure" the problem once and for all. I am 26 years old, and am not permiscuous at all. I just want to be healthy! Any suggestions??? Thank You!
