By all means, use Monistat or Terazol. Both are excellent, though I feel that the single dose therapy has a failure rate that is unacceptably high, so I tend to prescribe the Monistat 3, or the DualPak. It will not be necessary to inform your RE unless you are to undergo something like IUI.
