Light bleeding on Micronor -- spotting or period?From: AMD (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 30 May 2000 12:51:10 -0500 (CDT)
12 days ago I forgot my Micronor and had sex that same night. I noticed the missed pill the next morning and doubled-up. It made me a little nervous because it is my understanding that Micronor is less forgiving on late or missed pills than combined OCPs. I have not had a period since my son was born last summer, and we are down to our last little bit of nursing (maybe 5 min a day right before bedtime). This morning, I started having some very light bleeding. Should I consider this bleeding the return of my period, or pill-related spotting? Is it safe to assume it is NOT implantation bleeding since it's been 12 days since I missed the pill? I was planning to start combined OCP's at the end of this pack of Micronor. If this bleeding is a period, do I need to wait for the next period before starting the combined pills, or just start them when the Micronor is gone? Thanks, Andrea
