Re: Use of talcum powder

Talc has had some connection with uterine cancer, and I suppose lung problems if its continually inhaled...but I am not aware of any others<?>

I believe however that what some of the reports meant was that the individual would have had to get large amounts of talc into the vaginal (not only the external vulva) canal, if not the uterus itself, before it can cause a problem.

I am not 100% sure on this, so.... its a good question for you to ask your doctor next time you go in. So long as you're not using it now, its not an urgent matter. Still, if you're concerned, I'd have her/him give you a call back about it.

Take Care
