Hard to make a call without seeing it, but if hubby also has, sounds like HPV or herpes (most likely HPV) HPV is cause of venereal warts, and leading cause of cervical cancer. Not mind you do not go and panic here! Best thing is to go to MD and have it evaluated. If indeed it turns out to be an HPV type lesion, it can easily be treated in MD office. BUT... make sure also you are getting routine pap smears.
