Marchbein, M.D.: "Re: 1st cycle post-lap" Hi there. I had a laparoscopy to remove what turned out to be a simple functional cyst on 4/27. Had been off the pill for two weeks pre-surgery. Went back on the pill (Norinyl 1/35) 5/7, so am now starting my third week of active pills. Over the weekend, my right ovary (the one the cyst was on) starting aching again, I started spotting and now am having full blown menstrual cramps. Is this worth a call to the doctor, or is it "normal" to be a bit out of whack the first month? I'll be switching to a stronger pill next month... Thanks. Next message: Harvey S.
