I am a breast feeding mom of a one year old and am not sexually active at this time....or for quite sometime. And I have never had an STD. Lately I have been feeling a little itchy in the vaginal area but it is a slight foul odor that I have noticed (my hygiene is very good) and the odd time my husband (of 11 years)and I have attempted sexual intercourse it has been painful (which I had attributed to an extensive episiotomy that I had incurred) Due to the fact that I live in a rural area and my ob/gyn is quite a distance away, I was considering an OTC yeast infection treatment cream.
