Second, at your age, you should not expect complete lack of periods, a diminution of flow will be considered success. We are still trying to find the place for ablations. They are wonderful because of their 'minimal surgery' feel, but there will still be failures and still be women that really, really, really need a hysterectomy to help them. Good Luck
