Re: Does OB have the right to sit in on surgery?(Robin)From: Robin (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 31 Mar 2000 09:04:36 -0600 (CST)

I guess the lesser of two evils is to sit him down and let him >know how I feel. I would hate to have to search for another gyn when I >know he is the type of doctor who would understand(I hope) where I am >coming from. Thanks again. >>> You are most welcome. I like to help out anywhere I can. I haven't been around much lately due to my own illness, but am trying to come back. If you know within your heart that this is the Dr. for you, then you do need to make an appt. and sit down with him, and let him know your feelings. I know from personal experience how difficult this can be, but if you set your mind to it, and know that you are doing this for your benefit, it does make it a bit easier. I know it is difficult to find a GYN with whom you have total trust and respect for. I had one for years, and due to a falling out, I decided it was time to find someone else. I went to a dear friend of mine, and she gave me her Drs. name, and let me tell you, it has made all of the difference in the world. He listened to me when I told him of some problems I had for over 15 years, and I was eventually diagnosed with Endometriosis, Stage IV. Feel free to email me off list if you would like. Just put "OBGYN.net" in the subject, so I know it is an email to open. I don't open emails unless I know who they are from. Good luck, and I wish you all the best!!!!
