atypical cellsFrom: chele (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 28 Feb 2000 14:54:54 -0600 (CST)
I am only 25 and for the past few years I have had abnormal paps showing abnormal with atypical cells with mild inflammation. I had a colposcopy w/biopsy about a year and a half ago and the gyn told me not to worry abu tit but to recheck in 3 mos. Well, I switched to another dr because I wanted aa 2nd opinion. Today I went for a colposcopy w/biopsy, endometrial biopsy and endocervical curettage. He said he may 'freeze' it, but he wants to get the results of these tests before he does. I go back in for the results in 1 month. but I would like to find out what 'freezing' entails and if my fertility will be affected. Especially after having years of abnormal paps. thanks!
