HPV

I thought that the only way you could pass on HPV is if you actually had a wart. I only had one wart over ten years ago I was told if I didn't get another one for 2 years I'd be o.k. Now I have CIN3 and I'm wondering if I should contact all my ex's because they might infect their girlfriends and they will end up with dysplasia to. Is it true that all the guys I've had unprotected sex with now also have HPV and if it is a precursor to dysplasia in women is it a precursor to anything in men. Why isn't there enough information and education for a virus that is so common and potentially life threatening?
