Hi Dr. Marchbein, Back on January 5th I posted a question about endo on the bowel being a possible cause of diarrhea.Your responce to the post was you questioned wheither or not I was taking Lupron and my answer was no.Brief history: Hysterectomy and LSO April 1998 followed my a hematoma that had to be surgically drained 10 days later. These following surgeries were done for Chronic pelvic pain in the LLQ, Laporoscopy October 1998-Dr. found severe adhesions and Lysed them all.Trigger point injections to the LLQ which did not help at all,Laporoscopy April 1999-Lysis of adhesions and Intercede applied, November 1999-Dr. said that there were no adhesions at this time and I was diagnosed with endometriosis on the lower bowel and in the cul de sac and did a RSO.Dr did not excise the endo for fear of doing damage to the bowel.I have been having diarrhea since December and recently had a colonoscopy done and everything was normal with this.My pain management Dr. talked to my gyn about the pain and the diarrhea and was told that there is nothing more that can be done at this time.(He wants to wait 3 months before starting HRT)Because the colonoscopy was normal and I am still having diarrhea and LLQ pain my pain management Dr. wants to send me to another gyn for a second opinion on the endometriosis. My Question is:Should I be getting a second opinion from a gyn or a different Dr.? An endroconologist maybe? I have been to so many different Drs. the past 2 years that I am really frustrated on where to go.Your opinion on this matter is very much appriciatted.Thank you, Peggy
