Marchbein, M.D.: "Re: sore breast" My left breast is sore behind the areola, I also have a seperate sore spot under my left arm (armpit) I'm feeling very run down, and am wondering if this couldn't be a result of trying to fight something off. I'm checking for a lump in my breast and can't find one, but I'm worried that I'm missing something. I'm not pregnant, I probably am ovulating right now, could that have something to do with it? I'm just trying to be cautious. The pain feels like a bruise or ache like when the chest is growing in puberty, I'm 25 have 2 kids and have passed puberty. I quit nursing about a year and a half ago. Should I have this checked out? Its been hurting for 2 days now.
