Marchbein, M.D.: "Re: antiperspirant and breast cancer" My 14 year old daughter perspires very much, and is quite self conscious about it. Her pediatrician recommended Drysol. I can find very little literature about this prescription. I am a bit hesitant about allowing my daughter to use it since I heard there was a correlation between aluminum and breast cancer. Unfortunately, the pediatrician was unfamiliar with the study and suggested that I speak with an obgyn.
