Mary,

WOW! To hear the comment of "trying to push a semi out of a one car garage" must have sent you through the roof, it would have me!!!! Some can be so sweet, can't they???

This thread has brought more "memories" of residents than I care to think about......I was given too much medication after having a spinal cord stimulator placed (which is major spinal surgery). Long story short, they overdosed me, and while they were trying to stabilize me, the resident sat in a chair at the foot of the bed, didn't say word one to me!!!!!!!! NOTHING! When they were getting ready to transfer me to ICU, the Dr. told the nurse to call my Mother and inform her of what was happening....This is my favorite part....she told him, You did this to her, you call her mother!" She was right, he was the one that decided to increase my Dilaudid in the PCA even after I told him I was managing okay with the pain!!!!!

Okay, think I will stop reading this thread before I think of more ;o)......

Hope you are feeling wonderful!!!!
