Hemorraghing.From: Anna (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 9 Feb 2000 18:59:56 -0600 (CST)
Hello, Here is the situation. My daughter was 12 when she hemorraghed. She got her period when she was 11 and she would get it every 3-4 months or so at first. Then when she was 12 she hemorraghed. She was in the hospital for 2 days, had a D and C and then started on the pill. She finally got regulated somewhat but then decided to stop taking the pill. The month after she stopped taking the pill she did have a period. Then she did not have a period the next month and that brings us up to this month and she hasnt had it yet for february. Now I took her to her Dr. who says she has to go back on the pill or she will end up back in the hospital. At this time she just turned 14. Now the Dr. says that she may not be ovulating that would be consistant with her missing the periods after she took the pill. How can I be certain what is going on and should she have further testing. Also I have a question about inverted nipples. Can this problem be corrected? She also has this problem. Thanks for all of your assistance.
