adhesions???From: Kathy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 9 Feb 2000 14:10:13 -0600 (CST)
Hello, I have had 2 c-sections, 3 laprascopies, and an abdominal hysterectomy. I had terrible adhesions after my c-sections. My right ovary was twisted and flat like a pancake against my abdominal wall for just an example. Anyway, all the surgeries, and I thought I was over all the pain. It has been almost 4 years, and I have only had right sided aches or cramps from time to time. Then this past Sunday I started with right side PAIN..mid abdomen....above my hip bone. I also do not have my appendics. I have been running a constant 99.6 -100 temp. It is worse with movement or deep breathing. My CT scan of the abdomen was negative. US of abdomen showed small amount of fluid in the right pelvis. Obstruction series was negative. I feel a pulling inside my belly on that right side. To recap I have had a total hysterectomy, both ovaries are gone, and also my appendics. Doctors seem stumped. What should I do? Could it be adhesions? What do I do to make them listen???? Thank you!!!!!
