Re: Should I be concerned about two week periods

I am 39 years old and have been having irregular periods for the past six months. I quit smoking about one year ago, and it seems my periods have changed since then. They are only about 20 day cycles and average about 7 to 10 days. This time it has been excessively longer, 14 days, and still counting. I just had my annual exam and everything was fine. Do I need to see a doctor again? I also have migraine headaches during my period and am currently taking fiorinal with codiene. Could this affect my cycle? Also, no sexual desire for the past six months. Not just low desire, but no desire. After smoking I gained about 20 lbs., but I do not feel that this should make a difference. I am 5'5" and weigh approximately 137 lbs. Please let me know what I should do. I would appreciate any advise I could get. Thank you.
