I had surgery today - update and thanks to Dr M!From: Anna (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 7 Jan 2000 22:52:36 -0600 (CST)
Well, after a long wait and a lot of pain, I had my lap performed today. After I woke up, I could tell things were better! I had endo on my right ovary, which was causing the right sided pain and adhesions on my lower uterus binding it to the rectum. This explains the pain with bowel movements. I have incisional pain right now, and not much more. I am so glad that I had this surgery done. I wanted to thank Dr. M. for all his impressions on my case. It always put me at ease. I have been told the endo will come back, and my doctor used adhesion barriers with this surgery. I have been moving around since coming home so I hope the adhesions will not come back. What can I do about the endo? I am currently taking 1/50 BCP. I was previously taking a lower dose pill back to back and still got endo. Will taking a higher dose back to back prevent endo from coming back? Thanks
