Well, we have two opinions so far and it is starting to look unanimous... it is my computer system that makes the images look too dark. Now to figure out how I need to set it up so I see what the rest of the world is seeing. Can't be so simple as turning that knob on the front of my monitor... do you think?

I will copy the messages that are sent directly to me to the list, especially those that contain information that may help us to learn to use this medium for image communications.

Keep those comments coming girls and boys.

Peace, Terry J. DuBose Chair, Ultrasound@OBGYN.net University or Arkansas for Medical Sciences Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program Director

The first image is the best on my screen. I have found that the default brightness setting on recently purchased computers with monitor is much too low to view images properly. I have a computer at home and a computer in the office, and both have a default brightness setting of 30 (maximum is 100). I find that a setting of 65-70 brings out all the detail. When I am not viewing images I return to the default setting. The second image is OK, the third image (gamma 2.5) is outof the question - bad. Images one and two are really excellent. Allen Worrall

Terry: I am a silent looker! Have a nice News Years. I vote for first image. Joe

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
