Terry, I agree with you 100%. We as prof. can not let our quality of exam be compromised by a physician who obviously wants to perform a great number of exams for maximum billing. Where are you physicians out there to back this person up? It might help her to be able to present e-mails supporting her position to her administration. Thanks, Dave Matzke

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
