Hey, Santa!

Why won't insurance pay for it? I think this is a very good idea! It gives very good feedback for your physical exam. Why not every new patient? Some doctors do this, and I think it's a good idea. If there is no sonographer in your hospital(s) and you are the most qualified, then that answers my question.

See you on the 25th, Santa!

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
