Ultrasound Chat RoomFrom: Roberta Speyer (roberta.speyer@elecomm.com)Tue Dec 23 07:04:38 1997
Hi Everyone, Well we're just about to finnish up with the Image Gallery and the online forum version of ultrasound at obgyn.net and go to launch with our "new baby"! I have been really happy with the activity of our new group. Don't worry about flames guys, they are indicative of the bonding of the group...no one argues more than "families". my sister Barbara and I have a theory...Flame wars are like husbands...ignore them and they'll go away. ;-) This section of OBGYN.net has the potential to be one of the best collaborative efforts because you all are so enthusiastic so I want to offer you an additional opportunity. Do you want an Ultrasound Conference Room on the new section? You could use it to discuss the case of the month, schedule private conferences, class projects, educating the public etc... What we would need to get it started is some volunteers to moderate some one hour sessions on a regular monthly basis so we could make a schedule what do you think? The software we have has the ability to be attached to a scan you could be discussing. What do you all think/ Lastly, I just wanted to let you know working with the Siemens Team has been a real pleasure for me. They are so organized and turn requests around, and into results, with lightening speed. This is not always the case believe me. If it's any indication of how they treat their customers, it's a good one. Fondly, Roberta

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
