Dear Janet , Agreed, some people are handicapped in their bad taste, blasting a colleague... shame, shame..... some say toMAto some say hippocampus gryus....bannana sign, strawberry.... I like that docs use fruit as "big as a ........" fruit is vague enough in size compared to sports equipment..ie golfball, softball, etc :-)

Our clinicians are out there in the real world and are amazed at our ability to use the hedge.... but many times I;ve said "I knew it was that, wish I'd stuck my neck out more" Now we do .... we have a good and long report with our clinicians and they hate the long report conclusion "could be, maybe" They respect that we do stick our neck out also and in the long haul this plan has paid off for us.... We are not always right but we don't hide in the differential.... They know u/s is not a microscope....

We are now doing a study where we scan mom's the day before an elective C/S just to try to guess the weight... last year within 11% (1-24% off) been measuring fetal weights for 20 years..... we do stick our neck out all the time, every time we set the crystal down on human tissue..... Best wishes, Merry Christmas <|:-)>

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
