Lawson : Biophysical Growth Parameters , yawnFrom: MARK LAWSON (lawson98@juno.com)Thu Dec 11 20:40:44 1997
cstewart@ruraltel.net says: >How would most of you score the AFI on a BPP if it were in the >95th to 98th %, as a 2 or as a 0. BPP only speak of Oli, or a lack of >fluid. What about a Poly? Ever fall asleep doing a Bio? I have.... at least close to it, waiting for that diaphragmatic excursion.... yawn... The scores are clear... O points for Olig. 2 for >1cm pockets But Clay... you have to use the scores in context... I never claimed to be "in the know" but in my experiences the idiopathic poly hasn't been a big problem in our patient population compared to the Oligo ones.... I'm trying to think of a BPP patient with poly and can think of only a couple in the past 5 years that were upper limits of normal and never seemed to cause a problem... not a lot of power in this observation though.... That seems like a great question to the experts at AIUM .... do you do AIUM??? you should.... Where else except on Dateline could you talk and listen to the thoughts of Roy, Beryl, Barry or Larry... not to mention John, Barbara, Carol, Diane, Joel or the beautiful Kathy Reed..... I'm in heaven at AIUM.... a treat for the brain.... the best of the best... I actually cried at the last keynote address..... another story.... gotta go make my reservations, I like to see how low a number I can get.... once I was actually a registrant <100.... amazing what turns some folks on :-)

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
