JOB in ArkansasFrom: Terry J. DuBose (tjdubose@juno.com)Wed Dec 10 21:56:20 1997
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), University Hospital, Little Rock is looking for a good sonographer... RDMS only, none of that "eligible" stuff. Primarily abdominal and OBGYN work. Teaching hospital, high-risk OB lab, Community Women's Clinic; some call. Some lecturing a possibility, depending on experience and education. I just can't turn the students out fast enough. My first class graduated in August, all had jobs before they finished. Now we are scrambling again, and this current class is still 6 months before ripening. BY THE WAY!! My last class, and first in Arkansas, (I have 8 students a year) has a 100% pass rate on all their ARDMS exams!!!!! Physics, abdomen, ob/gyn. How's that against a 60% national average? I couldn't be more pleased. Except may be for the fact that my program's Self-Study is finished and will ship tomorrow!!! Think I'll have a glass of wine! If anybody is interested in the UAMS job, drop me a message at my office [DuBoseTerryJ@Exchange.UAMS.edu] and I'll return the name and phone number of the person you need to contact. Peace, Terry J. DuBose

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
