Kevin, Terry and Dr. Mamula,

Great pictures! This is very similar to the very first case I scanned with synechial band. Looking at the inferior aspect of the band I see the uterine wall only...no membrane appearance. The thickness of the base also strikes me as uterine. The placenta also appears away from the posterior/fundal placenta. With her recent D,C & E for the prior spontaneous abortion...it does give rise to the adhesion (synechia) theory.

Dr. Mamula, how did you scan the images into the system? I have a new scanner and am still learning the finer points of it. Did you just place the film onto the scanner? If interested I could try to scan the synechial images I have for a comparitive look.

Lastly to Terry and Kevin,

Thanks for finding a way to enhance our listserve with image viewing potential...this internet never ceases to amaze me, humble me and floor me with the learning potential. The download time really wasn't that long for me.

Janet Tomko, RDMS
