Re: Treatment for oligohydramniosFrom: ARNOLD@CSTCC.CC.TN.USMon Dec 1 13:31:47 1997
Suzy, this is the 1st that I've heard of "immersion" for this purpose (not baptism...oligo...!!)...but does it occur in a "heated pool"? i.e. to increase the vascularity/flow to the placenta? (I may be way off here... like I said, 1st I've heard of any of this...) But it sounds like an interesting concept....Good idea, if it works.....(and they told me to stay out of the hot tub while I was pregnant.....)..............Jody/TN

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
