I ignore them completely. Since I document my ultrasound exams on SVHS video tape, and narrate the tape as I do the scan, the patient can hear what I am saying, and as soon as they hear the word "cyst" they of course panic, so I always explain that cysts in the cervix are of no significance, almost all women have them, and they have nothing to do with ovarian cysts.
