Basically, in the USA there are folks, some untrained in medicine, who are opening "Fetal Studios" and charging large fees to provide the parents with pictures and videos. This is without any medical indication or diagnosis. There are at least two sides, probably many more, and a lot of disagreement in what should be done. Hope this helps. Terry J. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
