Fetal Echo books was RE: burlbaw_porencephalyFrom: DuBose, Terry (DuboseTerryJ@uams.edu)Mon Aug 30 08:44:16 2004
The first thing I tell our students about preparing for the ARDMS exams is to printout the Exam Content Outline and use it for a study guide. See: http://www.ardms.org/examinations/outlines.htm As to textbooks, I also recommend Julia Drose's Fetal Echocardiography, W. B. Saunders. Have you seen Gregory DeVore's CD ROM set on fetal echo... very good. Also the following CDs are good, if you can find them. Check with AIUM or do a GOOGLE search. Fetal Embryo Ultrasound Handbook by Dr. Florin Stamatian of Romania (English translation.) "Fetal Ultrasound Simulator" from AIUM & ACOG. Good luck with your studies. Terry J. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
