Larry I know of a case here in Phoenix where a reputable group missed a cleft lip/palate that was then picked up by a commericial 3D site 2 weeks later. I know that's not what you're looking for, but it could work both ways. Of course a 3D site may be more likely to pick up facial abnormalities since that's where their focus is. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
