please help!! Trying to research obstetrics malpracticeFrom: Amy (chichigirl_25@yahoo.com)Wed Jan 21 00:29:44 2004
I am a first year ultrasound student writing a research paper on malpractice lawsuits in obstetrics. Are there specific medical journals or law journals that you could recommend for case examples on this topic? I know that most cases are protected by gag orders and I would like to include a couple of specific and interesting cases within my paper. Is it possible to access records of these cases through the courthouse or would an expert witness be allowed to give me any information on specific cases? I thank you in advance for your advice!

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
