> Hi, I am 19 weeks 3 days pregnant with twins.I went for an ultrasound where it was found that both my babies (girls) have bilateral renal plycctasis and one of the babies have lateral ventricle me asuring 9.9 mm.My doctor advised me for an amniocentosis which i got done. The preliminary result of amnio suggests that the babies do not have down syndrome as indicated by bilateral renal plyc ctasis but still one of the babies show symptom of hydrocephalus due to lateral ventricle measure ment. I have following questions. 1) Can the babies head size shrink to normal size in next coming weeks.What is the percentage.Did anyone else had the same experience. 2) Can u tell me if hydrocephalus is treatable before or after birth. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
