Re: Unilateral, large, hyperechoic kidneyFrom: Tania Griffiths (Tania.Griffiths@med.monash.edu.au)Thu Apr 24 01:08:38 2003
Dear Recep Has I had a case of unilateral infantile poly cystic disease about 8 years ago. The mother present for the routine morpholgy scan at 18 weeks and I identified a hyperechoic kidney, the other kidney was normal. The case was sent to a tertiary centre for further scans and the appearance persisted thru the pregnancy. Scans in the neonatal period demonstrated infantile polycystic disease. I dont remember any further details. Tania Griffiths Lecturer Monash University Dept Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences

However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
